My beloved Casey tagged me to do one of these meme things again, so I'll get to that shortly. I'm home for the morning, first time in probably a week, and I got to sleep in. Daylight savings time blows, especially when it happens on your birthday and you have to drag your behind out of bed and go to church at what feels like 7am. Ridiculous. The weather has been sketchy at best - it was near 70 for most of the weekend and I actually wore sandals (my feet were so excited, they didn't know what to do) but then yesterday, as I put on my coat to walk out the door I asked my husband, "how cold is it?" and he said, "not that cold, just take your scarf."
It snowed, dear friends. I'm sorry, but it's April and I've really had enough of the winter and the sleet and the sideways snowflakes that somehow manage to get between my glasses and my eyeballs and having to wrap up my face because it's 25 degrees outside. Enough, say I!
That said, it is sunny again today, another cruel trick by mother nature designed to lure me outdoors. No siree bob, I'm going to stay right here, with my dog on my foot, in my pyjamas and when I feel motivated, I'm going to make myself eggs and tea and watch television for at least half an hour, and only then will I consider putting on clothes and leaving the house.
